F.A.Q.

What is the difference between orthopedic surgeon and chiropractic?

Chiropractic can treat injuries as severe as broken bones based on the result of X-rays. We cannot provide prescription drugs, injections, or surgery. It is suitable for symptoms that are not life-threatening but posing obstacles in everyday life. It is more effective than taking medications for diseases caused by muscle induration.

Yes.

Can I bring my children to the clinic while I have treatment?

Yes, and they can accompany you in the treatment room. However, it is your reponsibility to watch your children as we do not have child care staff. Please bring a DVD set or toys if necessary.

Do you treat pregnant women?

Yes.

Yes. We perform acupuncture treatments for infertility. Additionally, Dr. Uchida had infertility and is experienced in the options available, has sympathy and empathy for people undergoing such treatments, and can provide guidance and referrals based on her experience.

What is the duration of treatment?

Most treatments take from 45 minutes to one hour. The number and freaquency of treatments depends on the nature and severity of the injury or problem. Once the issue is evaluated, an estimate can be made of the length of treatments necessary.  In general, recovery is faster for those who do exercise regularly.
